I am the CLIR/DLF-Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow for UH's Recovering the US Hispanic Literary Heritage. I received by PhD in English at Rice University. My research interests include Chicana/o studies, US Latinx studies, US-Mexico border literature, Chicana feminism, affect theory, postcolonial theory, class analysis, digital humanities, and the public humanities. In the past, I worked on the hemispheric digital archive, Our Americas Archive Partnership at Rice University. My current book project is titled "Manos de Obra: Race, Class, Gender, and Colonial Affect-Culture in Mexican American Literature."
